This application is for a barista position in the Summer Cohort (May - August 2026) of the Work & Life Skills Program.

This is a part time opportunity with up to 20 hours per week, and there are openings at both locations. Wildflyer Coffee’s vision is to end youth homelessness through dignified employment opportunities and our Work & Life Skills Program seeks to hire youth 16-24 years old who have experienced housing instability or homelessness.

THE PROCESS:

1. Phone screening: Applicants will schedule a 15 min phone call with W&LS Program Manager. The Program Manager will call the phone on the application at the scheduled time.

   • PLEASE NOTE: If an applicant misses the phone call and doesn’t communicate during the scheduled time, they have another chance to reschedule. If they miss 2 scheduled calls, they may not be eligible for an interview depending on communication with the PM or reason for missing the calls.

2. In Person interview: The Program Manager will work to schedule an interview at the cafe that you applied to. The in person interview will be around an hour in length.

3. You will be notified via email about employment.
