74% of youth who graduated from our program in 2023 had experienced homelessness more than three times throughout their lives and despite that, 75% of youth successfully completed and graduated from our four-month Work and Life Skills Program. This is a remarkable achievement of our youth and also a demonstration that our program is working.

At Wildflyer, we know that one of the greatest barriers to securing stable housing and independence is a lack of stable employment. When a young person has the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to find and maintain dignified employment, the path to exiting homelessness becomes much more accessible. That’s why we offer youth a 4-month work and life skills training program to develop the skills needed to find and maintain stable employment and leave homelessness behind. Through this innovative program, we’ve accomplished:

• a 100% increase in Job Readiness Assessment Scores

• 80% of program participants leaving Wildflyer with a dream for their future and a plan to reach that dream

• 85% of graduates be housed and employed, enrolled in education opportunities, or working with their employment counselor at their 3-month check-in

Last year, we employed 27 youth, this year we plan to support 50. Wildflyer needs to raise $10,000 to meet this goal.
