We stand firmly in support of our community — including the general strike planned for Friday, January 23rd across the state of Minnesota. To ensure our staff can participate in ways that feel meaningful to them, and to demonstrate our solidarity with the movement, both Wildflyer Café locations will be closed for the full day on January 23.  

We want to ensure that our staff does not shoulder the financial burden of these disruptions alone — and that Wildflyer can continue to sustain itself amid ongoing interruptions to our operations. Life has not paused during this moment of protest, vigilance, and solidarity. 

In response, we are seeking to raise $2,500 to help offset lost wages and revenue to ensure we can continue responding with intentionality and care.

Funds raised will be used to cover lost revenue from closures, provide wage support during emergency closures, and assist with essential needs such as transportation to and from work. Your contribution helps ensure that we can take care of our staff and programming in the face of this challenging time.
